Right Side Routine

Can a person really get up on the wrong side of the bed?  As a family, plan that tomorrow morning no one will get out of bed on their usual side. Discuss how you feel when everyone is out of bed. Was it hard to change your routine like this?  Do you feel uncomfortable or grumpy?  Pay attention during the day to see if this little change makes a difference in your mood. Making a simple change and discussing the results that you see is a great way to understand if one action causes another one or just happens in the same day.

Tomorrow, everyone should change a bigger part of their morning routine, like the order of getting dressed and eating breakfast.  Discuss how doing something different changes your day. Does your family have a regular routine, or are you able to make changes easily without too much interruption to your day? Routines are important to help us do the things we should, but it’s also important to be flexible. Making little changes and discussing how to accept them without stress can help your family be ready to take on ANYthing your day brings!
